Gather you materials. Start with cutting the stiff netting.
Cut netting into strips that are 10 inches wide and 36 inches long.
Begin to necktie on the netting to the top ( start row) of the headband.
To do this fold the strip in half.
On the side that is folded, push it effectually one of the gaps in the headband.
Take the loop that you pushed through and pull the ends through information technology, to brand a knot.
Sure-fire it downward as all-time you tin can.
Continue to add all the netting to the headband untill all the strips have been used.
Using a articulate rubber band, tie the tops together to give the wig it'due south shape.
Now it'south fourth dimension add the tulle… lots of tulle. Cut the strips into 50 inch lengths.
Begin to add tulle, merely like the netting, Begin a few rowws beneath the netting and attempt to stagger them in between the netting to make the troll hair more even.
Here's a better look at how I am staggering the strips. Continue to add together tulle. Staggering gowing down a a row to make the troll hair full and lushous looking.
Since this troll hair is inspired by Princess Poppy I have a few curt strips around the face. Utilise a second articulate rubber band the gather the tulle at the top and you're finished with the Troll Pilus DIY. But if you want to make a headband to go with it… hither'southward how:
Cutting a strip of felt that is 1.5 inches wide and xv inches long. utilise the scraps to cut the long thin leaves by hand. (They're bones you can just eyeball it).
Cut out flowers out of blue felt.
Fold in the corners of the green headband and sew it to 4 inches of fold over elastic ( you can hot mucilage it merely sewing is much more sturdy)
Hot mucilage the blue flowers and leaved into place.
Tip: When putting on the troll hair with the head band, put the head band on around your neck outset, then put on the wig, then pull the headband up. At present go sing a happy song. 🙂
